Bev has held senior management positions across a number of industry sectors and her responsibilities have included the overseeing of a national education programme. Bev has been involved in the establishment of a number of boards and has written a Doctoral thesis entitled Corporate Governance: Determinants of Effective Decision-Making.

Professor Martin Devlin, former Head of the Graduate School of Business and Director of Massey University’s MBA programme, serves on a number of for-profit and not-for-profit boards. He is currently researching governance development in privately-owned New Zealand companies. Martin has extensive business experience, both in New Zealand and the UK.

Nick has had over 25 years of senior management experience including over 10 years as an Executive Director of the Interlock Group of companies, an exporting manufacturing business well-known for its innovative products and management practices. Nick has also been a member and chairperson of a number of not-for-profit boards.

Chris has spent his career following his passion for education. Having trained and worked as a teacher he moved on to senior management in the book trade and the IT industry.

He has long been active in school governance including serving on primary, intermediate, secondary and special school boards. His expertise in governance was honed through his progression through the hierarchy of the New Zealand School Trustees Association, culminating in the chairmanship of the Association's national body. Chris specialises in the governace of the 'not for profit' sector.

Jan HenshallJAN HENSHALL BSc, MBA
Jan has long been involved in the senior management in the food industry working closely with both government and non-government agencies to effect change. She is on a number of boards and trusts. Her specialist roles within Valeo are both in strategy and in marketing.
